A group of ten gathered together, to learn, to teach, to have fun. Boy did they succeed!
BEFORE THE MINI MEET STARTED Evelyn was the first to arrive at the noon hour on April 22nd. Gayle called Maggie to let her know where she was at on the highway and arrangements were made to meet at the McDonalds after Gayle got off the Ambassador Bridge leading from Detroit MI to Windsor ON. At 6:45 Gayle pulled into the McD's lot and hugs were exchanged.. in a few minutes they were on their way to the Royal Marquis Hotel. While Gayle checked in, Maggie and the Manager of the Hotel went to the meeting room to show how it was to be set up for the next day. After a short interval Evelyn, Gayle, Maggie and her DH Joe went into the Dinning Room for a lovely dinner. They enjoyed getting caught up on each others news and talked till 9:30 pm. Many hugs were given and goodbye's were said. A meet up time was arranged for about 12:30 the next afternoon, when Maggie would be delivering Marion and Mollie to the Hotel, her DH delivering all the goodies and equipment for the meet and set up in the Meeting room would begin. 4 pm was the official starting time of the Ontario Mini Meet.
