Speaker Guidelines

Please plan to arrive at 11:45 a.m. at the Dante Costa Hall at the Fogolar Furlan Club. Please send or bring with you a brief biographical sketch.

If you will be using PowerPoint or other audiovisual aids please advise your contact on the Speaker Committee what type of assistance you will need at least one week prior to your presentation. We usually can provide a lap top computer, an overhead projector, a VCR or a slide projector.

A Club member will welcome you and introduce you to a number of club members prior to the meeting including the person who will be introducing you. We are a particularly "chatty" and informal group so please feel free to introduce yourself to members and guests.

Our meeting begins at 12:15 p.m. After the President’s opening remarks, and some brief introductions, please be our guest for lunch. Following lunch and a few brief announcements you will be introduced at approximately 1:00 p.m. Attendance at our meetings is between 35 -40 members and guests. You will have 20-25 minutes for your presentation, including a brief question/answer period.

You are welcome to remain after the meeting to answer any further questions that members and their guests may have.
