ROTARY
INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT 6400
ARTICLE
I
The name of this organization shall be: District 6400 if
Rotary International
ARTICLE
II
The purpose of this organization is to promote the Object
of Rotary in District 6400 by providing the Governor of
6400, elected in convention by Rotary International, with
the necessary and desirable organization, operating groups
and rules of procedure that will aid him in carrying out
the duties of District Governor as prescribed by the Constitution
and By-laws of Rotary International.
ARTICLE
III
Membership in this organization comprises all of the clubs
of Rotary International District 6400 as named by the Board
of Directors of Rotary International.
ARTICLE
IV
If any provision of this Constitution or its By-laws are
in conflict with the Constitution and By-laws of Rotary
International, as presently or in the future constituted,
the provisions of the Constitution and By-laws of Rotary
International shall prevail without affecting the non-conflicting
provisions.
ARTICLE
V
By-laws not inconsistent with the Constitution may be adopted
by a two-thirds majority of club delegates present and voting
at t District Conference of District 6400, providing the
By-laws are submitted to the individual clubs (30) days
prior to the District Conference. Each club is to have one
(1) delegate for each twenty-five members of the club or
major fraction there of with the exception that each club
shall be qualified to have at least one (1) delegate. Each
club delegate shall have one (1) vote but a club may assign
its qualifying votes to on or more of its delegates or to
delegates of any club in District 6400.
ARTICLE
VI
The Constitution of District 6400 may be amended by a two-thirds
majority vote of club delegates at a District Conference,
providing the proposed amendment is submitted to the District
Governor and the President of each club in the District
at least thirty (30) days prior to the District Conference.

2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

The
object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of
Service as a basis of worthy enterprise and in particular,
to encourage and foster:
1. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for
service:
2. High ethical standards in business and professions; the
recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations;
and the dignifying by each Rotarian of his/her occupation
as an opportunity to serve society;
3. The application of the ideal of service by every Rotarian
to his/her personal, business and community
life;
4. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill,
and peace thorough a world fellowship women
and men united in the ideal of service.
