Jim Ives is a member of the Dearborn Rotary Club, having joined the club in 1991. He has served the club in many capacities, and was their Club President 1997-1998.

Jim has also served District 6400 in many ways. He has worked on in District Conference Committees in a variety of roles: Program Chair three years, Treasurer, Childcare Coordinator, First Timers Host four years, and Facilities Chair, In addition, he has served District 6400 as Chairman of the Alumni Committee, chairman of Club Service Committee, Coordinator of the Programs of The Rotary Foundation, and has served as an Assistant Governor.

Jim and his wife Diane have two sons, Graham, and Case.

Jim is Vice President of Rose Exterminator Company and served as President of the Michigan Pest Control Association for two years. He is a graduate of Lake Forest College, earning a BA in Economics. Jim and Diane are both Paul Harris Fellow and Benefactors to The Rotary Foundation
