Roberto & Sylvia Sanchez
YOUR GOVERNOR 2003-04

The Rotary Club of Grosse Ile
of Michigan


DG Roberto Sanchez

He is a resident of Grosse Ile, Michigan and a member of the Grosse Ile Rotary Club since 1984.

Roberto is an active Board Member of the Club and Past Club President (1995-96). He has been involved at the District level as Group Study Exchange Team Leader to Chile in 1998, as a member of the Group Study Exchange Committee, as Past Chairman of the District's Youth Exchange Committee, as current member of the Youth Exchange Committee and presently serves as the Country Correspondent to Central America with the Central States Multi-District Youth Exchange Organization.

Roberto has been married for 29 years to Sylvia. They have two daughters. Suzi works with her dad at the Spiratex Company. He is the chief financial officer and board member. Sara, the younger daughter, is attending Hillsdale College.

Their daughters are very active in Rotary Youth Exchange, having both participated in the program as Exchange Students. The family has hosted fifteen Exchange Students.

Roberto, Sylvia, Suzi and Sara are all Paul Harris Fellows.

Roberto is deeply humbled to serve as Rotary International District 6400's District Governor for 2003-04.
