THE SPEAKERS PROGRAM SUGGESTIONS

The Dearborn Heights Rotary Club enjoyed a wonderful program last month. We were both entertained and educated by a visit from Sister Betty Jenkins and Sister Mary Anna Riley. The Sisters are from the Siena Literacy Center, 11685 Appleton, Redford, MI. 48239. They can be reached at the center by e-mail at info@sienaliteracy.org . The Sisters would be happy to visit and speak to other rotary clubs. The Siena Literacy Center has opportunities for Rotarians to volunteer and tutor adults who wish to better themselves. This ties in directly with RI President Jonathan's call for all Rotarians to battle illiteracy. Please make this information available to our fellow Rotarians on our district website. Thank you for your assistance. Yours in Rotary, Curt
Here is a list of some speaker topic ideas. If you have others please contact the webmaster.

D-6400 Rotary Ambassadorial Academic Scholar Bryan Wildt
He has returned and is available for programs for the Rotary Clubs in D-6400.Ê Bryan went to Australia and completed a Master's degree.Ê He is an engineer and has returned to GM, who granted him an "academic furlough" to complete this Rotary Scholarship. Ê He was sponsored by the Trenton Rotary Club (Paul Jocks Club Sponsor) and has agreed to present programs, so far, to the Trenton and Belleville Clubs.Ê He has asked that his willingness to visit Clubs be publicized.......so I am asking you to include this notice on the web so all Clubs will have access to it. Ê Bryan can be reached at:Ê Bryan Wildt, 43989 Bayview, Apt. 37304, Clinton Twn., MIÊ 48038; email either:Ê bcwildt@hotmail.com or Bryan.c.wildt@gm.com.Ê He has an excellent program that really supports the Rotary Scholarship program.Ê Give him a call and sign him up!
