Setting up Eudora Light.

This help page is directed towards Eudora Light 3.0.6 and simular older versions across platforms, Macintosh, The whole Microsoft Windows Family.

If this is a first time install you'll be given the Options screen as before you start using the program. Now if you missed the Options screen or Eudora Light seems to be installed already then you can find the options by clicking on Tools -> Options. Older builds of Eudora Light might have the options in Special -> Settings. It's always prefered keep up to date and the reasons are located on Eudora's website www.eudora.com.

In the Options it is seporated via Categories, and starting with the one on the Top of the list is Getting Started.

Fill in the following:
POP account: username/wincom.net@smtp.wincom.net
note: the slash is required in the first half of the username.
Real name: This is the name that is stamped on every email you send. Preferably it would be of the one that emails most with Eudora Light.
Return address: username@wincom.net

NOTE: The spots that the word "username" was used should be replaced with your assigned Username, LoginID, or UserID (all the same thing). If you do not know what your Username is please contact us and we'll assist you in finding that out. Click Here to head to WINCOM's Contact page.

The next part is to setup the out going (aka SMTP Simple Mail Transfer Protocal) email server in Eudora Light, and you want to goto Hosts in the Category list.

Fill in the following:
SMTP: smtp.wincom.net

THAT'S IT! Click on OK to save your settings and to start sending and recieving your email.
