WOMEN'S SHELTERS IN CANADA AND RESOURCES

• Men For Change
  are dedicated towards promoting positive masculinity and ending sexism and violence. Men's group in Halifax, NS Canada that started after the Montreal Massacre in 1989 - work in the Community and in their hearts to promote healthy and nuturing masculinity.

  Shelternet is a new Canadian Website which is designed to help women find or get in touch with a women's shelter through the internet. Information provided includes directories and image maps of shelters across the country, how to make safety plans, how to hide your internet activities, a kids section and a question and answer section
  
  
• Youville Women's Residence - Sisters of Charity (Grey Nuns of Alberta) Offer extensive services, counseling, life skills, shelter etc.
