ATHENA Foundation is an international organization dedicated to
opening doors of leadership opportunity for women. The
Foundation has an unparalleled relationship with chambers of
commerce, universities, businesses and sponsoring organizations
across North America and Europe.
The
ATHENA Foundation adheres to Plato’s philosophy that “what
is honoured in a country will be cultivated there.” The
Foundation’s board of directors has expanded the Athena
philosophy and values into a network of individuals and programs
that would advance women in leadership.
The
ATHENA Foundation maintains that by elevating people with
potential and solid values they will be exceptional role models.
It is believed that by example others will be inspired to
achieve excellence.
One
of the objectives of the ATHENA Scholarship Program is to make
individuals of achievement more visible in the community and to
