SUPER
BOWL XL SANCTIONED EVENT APPLICATION DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER
1, 2005
The
Sanctioned Event Program is just one way the NFL allows
the local community to leverage the opportunity of hosting
the big game. The goal of the program is to provide
additional entertainment opportunities for local residents
and visitors while benefiting local charities.

CHAMBERS BORDER FORUM ADDRESSES US-VISIT AND WESTERN
HEMISPHERE TRAVEL INITIATIVE
On
July 28, 2005, the Windsor & District Chamber of Commerce
and the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted mirror
meetings in Detroit and Windsor, with presentations on
key border issues. More stringent identification requirements
were at the center of the stakeholder discussion with
the US
Department of
State and Department of Homeland Security representatives.
