CHAMBER
PREPARES FOR MUNICIPAL BUDGET PRESENTATION
The Chamber's Finance & Tax Committee is
hard at work, starting 2004 with preparations to address the
City of Windsor's 2004 Budget.
Working
with the Chamber's other Policy Committees the Finance &
Tax Committee is currently preparing the Chamber's Municipal
Pre-Budget submission. The submission will be presented to City
Council on
February 18, 2004 as a part of the City of Windsor's
consultation process on the 2004 Budget.
Preceding
the Chamber's Pre-Budget presentation the Chamber's Finance &
Tax Committee has also provided recommendations on municipal
property assessments and taxation in a paper that was
approved by the Board of Directors on January 29, 2004. The
discussion paper was then sent to City Council and City of Windsor
