CHAMBER POLICY & NEWS

CHAMBER PREPARES FOR MUNICIPAL BUDGET PRESENTATION
The Chamber's Finance & Tax Committee is hard at work, starting 2004 with preparations to address the City of Windsor's 2004 Budget.

Working with the Chamber's other Policy Committees the Finance & Tax Committee is currently preparing the Chamber's Municipal Pre-Budget submission. The submission will be presented to City Council on February 18, 2004 as a part of the City of Windsor's consultation process on the 2004 Budget.

Preceding the Chamber's Pre-Budget presentation the Chamber's Finance & Tax Committee has also provided recommendations on municipal property assessments and taxation in a paper that was approved by the Board of Directors on January 29, 2004. The discussion paper was then sent to City Council and City of Windsor Administration. For the text of this paper click on the link below.
