supports and promotes this belief. The
Windsor & District Chamber of Commerce was organized in 1876 and has
been in continuous operation since. Some

In affiliation with Canada’s two largest business
organizations, the Canadian and Ontario Chambers of Commerce, the Windsor
Chamber is an integral link to formulate a lobbying position for business
to all government levels. Concerns
of business are expressed on a wide variety of topics to ensure the most
ideal business climate.
Chamber
Action Committees
The Chamber supports the work of numerous committees,
which meet on a regular basis to monitor areas of interest and concern.
These committees include: After Business, ATHENA, Business
Excellence Awards, Challenge Cup, Communications, Environment, Finance
& Taxation, Golf, Government Relations, Information Technology,
Membership Services & Development and
Transportation.
Trade
Document Certification
The Chamber provides
certification of notarized documents (certificates of origin for export)
at no charge to members. A
savings of at least $25.00 per document.
Information Services & Relocation Packages
Our helpful staff is willing to assist and point you in
the right direction to obtain the information you need.
We have a small reference library that is accessible during
business hours.
The Chamber provides a general information package to people who are
relocating to the area.
Representation
on City Boards and Commissions
The Chamber
officially appoints Business representatives to City of Windsor Boards and Commissions.
Boardroom Rentals
The Chamber Boardroom is available, for a nominal fee,
during office hours for use by members.
