ONTARIO
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
(OCC) PRE-BUDGET SURVEY
The
Ontario Chamber of Commerce is surveying our membership to identify
finance and tax issues that are important to us. To participate please
take a few moments to complete the 2004 Provincial Pre-Budget Survey
which can be found at the following link: http://www.occ.on.ca/cgi-bin/2_2004ProvincialPreBudgetSurvey/
Due
to the timing of pre-budget consultations, the survey will end on
Thursday, January 29, 2004 at 12:00pm. The survey report and raw data results
will
be available in early February and will be communicated to you through
the Chamber's website and our E- Update.
The
results of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce "2003
Skilled Trades Shortage" survey that was conducted between December
10th and December 24th, 2003 are also available online at the following

MAYOR
FRANCIS AND WARDEN RAYMOND/ UNITED WAY WRAP-UP
With
just days to go until the wrap-up of the 2003 United Way
campaign, donors are responding generously to the call to action
issued by Windsor Mayor Francis and Essex County Warden Raymond
in support of United Way. Since the call to action was issued
this past January 13th $452,692 has been donated, with $747,308
still to be raised.
Volunteers
are asking anyone who has not made their 2003 contribution to do
so over the next week and consider donating the equivalent of $1
per day.

can be made to the United Way by contacting the Fund Development
Department
