Mount Pleasant, home of the Soaring Eagle Casino, is located near

Opened on December 2, 1996, the Soaring Eagle Casino replaced the
Saginaw Chips Card Room and Casino and Saginaw Chippewa Bingo. The new casino,
boasting 200,000 square feet of gaming, is open 24 hours,seven days a week.
The card room is open continuously from Friday to Monday and from 10:00 a.m.
to 2:00 a.m. Tuesday to Thursday.
Games include poker, blackjack, craps, roulette and 5000 slot machines.
Bingo is offered in the 2500 seat Bingo Hall which also hosts live
entertainment, three times a month.
The casino's breakfast buffet costs $4.95 while the lunch and supper
buffets are priced at $8.95. The 512 room Soaring Eagle Hotel and
Convention Centre is adjacent to the casino. Other casino amenities
include Kid's Quest, an on-site day care as well as a video arcade for
teens.

This casino lacks competition, thats why they can get away with tight
machines and poor service. It's always over crowded and the nickel machines
are impossible to get on. Poor ventilation makes it too smoky. We will
never go back, we have been to it at least 20 times and wonder why. The
only good thing about it is the short driving distance.

During a recent 3-day outing to the casino, the only day the slots
really started to get "hot" was when the computers went down. I live in the
Saginaw area and spend a lot of money there, and share the same view as a
large number of people who regularly visit Soaring Eagle ; we all agree that
