To tell you a little about myself let me say this: I am a 31 yrs old historical/grammatical literal interpreter of the ' Word of God ', who is blood bought/covered through the cross of Christ Jesus because there He died for all His elect so that by His grace am I saved. Not because of something that I did, for He paid a debt that He did not owe, and, I owed a debt that I could not pay. ( I am an orthodox believing Christian ).
I personally came to accept Christ Jesus as my Savior when I repented of my shortcomings (unrighteous living), asked for forgiveness, and made Christ Jesus Lord over my life, making covenant relations with Him in that I would give my life for Him spreading the Gospel and the Truth of Scripture to all that I come across. He has changed my life, and my family as well.
I have Dystonia (ST), which was due to an accident in May of 93. It was not that I was looking for God, I actually wanted nothing to do with such a notion,I enjoyed boozing it up as a way in handling my unfortunate accident, but all that changed when God came looking for me in the form of my cousin, whom I remembered was a drug user and a heavy drinker like me. My cousin told me how he had given his life to the Lord and how it changed him completely, after a number of visits I started reading the Bible.
It wasn't until a long while after that which God the Father lead me to see Christ Jesus as my Lord and as my Savior (cf. John 6:44). I had to first see that I was truly lost without Christ Jesus in my life. After awhile, many a nights boozed up and verbally assulting my wife and kids I realized I couldn't do this and maintain my family, so, on the night of Nov 14 1994 at 11:15 pm I asked for something that I thought I never would, Christ Jesus to come into my life as my Lord, show to me that He was real and all that my cousin said He was. There is such a Person as the Lord Christ Jesus, there is truth in God's Word (the Bible), and hopefully through this site I might very well lead others to Him.
My wife's name is Amber and I have three children: Jilian (15yrs old), Mathew (13yrs old), Nicholas (11yrs old), and little Dienaira whom was born MArch 2nd 2000, at 3:46pm EST.
