Computer Crafts.. what kinds... all kinds.. If I can do it on the computer.. I will.. I have made survival kits, clock faces, flowers, wedding gifts, valentine cards, business cards, greeting cards, bag tags, gift tags, mardi gras masks, and lots lots more. I use mostly Print Artist, Paint Shop Pro, Draw 6, and any other program I can find. I also belong to an email group called PALs and More. A PAL is a Print Artist Lover and they love to share. If you love to craft and love to use your computer.. joins us............
IRC you ask... what is that. Well IRC stands for International Relay Chat. And it lets you talk to people of all walks of life.. from all over the world. Link up to FRIENDS to see the many friends I have made since I have been on line.
CRAFTS ... what kind... well I do lots of different ones. I have done crocheting, mostly afgans. Then I have done lots of work in Plastic Canvas .. making all kinds of gifts for my family and friends. Also I have done ceramics, cross stitch, hooked rugs and embrodery too. I have done some bead work.. but not much of it.. and just for my own pleasure. I have bought kits and done a lot of christmas decorations. If it looks interesting ... I will try it once anyways.
Also in this line of creativity... I like to bake cookies.. which I use as a main part of my Christmas gifts to my family.. and I also bake Cakes and decorate them for special occasions. I have even done 3 Wedding Cakes.
HORSEBACK RIDING... this I have always love since I was a little girl. Horses have intriqued me. Pictures, books, movies on them and the real thing too. When I was 16 I finally had my dream come true and I got my own horse.... "Dude's Cupid". She was an Arabaloosa. Yes that is right I did not spell it wrong.... she was an arabian and an Appaloosa and she was a beauty. She was trained in both western and english seat... although I rode her most bareback until I was thrown and almost killed. Then my uncle got me a saddle... Western of course. I loved trail riding with her.. an doing low jumps. Once we even went swimming in the lake... now that is a treat... riding on a horse who is swimming. But finally as all thing do.... our time together came to a halt.
READING AND WRITING My reading is most for leisure.. and I like to read love stories.. I guess I am a romatic at heart. I also like to read fictions based in the prehistoric times... like the Auerl series... Clan of the Cave Bear, Valley of the Horse... etc.... I am now awaiting her 5th book in a series of 6. Hope it comes out soon. As for my Writing.. that is just for my pleasure and was done mostly cause someone one told me ... "you read so many of those books you probably can write one... the more I thought about it.. the more I thougth I could... and I did. It is small.. and would need a lot of expanding and revisions before it was ready to go to a publisher. But who knows... maybe one day it will.... and you all can say... I knew Maggie before she was published...heee heee heee.
