1st Come Over May 30 2005

| On May 30 2005 the Come Over Red Rovers had their 1st Official Come Over (meeting).
Queen Mischievous Maggie and C0 Queen Coke-a-lotta Chris invited 8 persons. 3 of them showed up. Grace, Lyn and Sheri. Also invited was Queen Marmy of the Red Hat Cool Kats of LaSalle Ontario.
During the day, Queen Marmy told us of how her Chapter got started and what they have been doing . She talked of the poem "the Warning" by Jenny Joseph and "Olde to the Red Hats" by Sue Ellen.
We sat down at the table and had a fine meal of egg salad and cucumber sandwiches, cheese and crackers, pickles and for dessert fruit and HAT cakes.

After eating we had a "Call Over" (installation of members). First I called over Chris and captured her, put a purple cap around her shoulders and a red hat on her head. Second we called over Sheri, captured her and put the cape on her shoulders and a red hat on her head. Then we called Lyn over, capturing her and putting the purple cape on her shoulders and red hat on her head
