Rovers at Swan Vue

Sept 7th 2005

All the Rovers meet up at Queen Mischievous Maggie's house and then we drove over to
Marie Rose's house which is called The Swan Vue.
Sherri could not attend our luncheon today because she was not feeling well.
We arrived at 12 Noon and Marie greeted us at her door with open arms.
We were seated outside on the Patio with a wonderful view of the Detroit River and Fighting Island.
Drinks were brought out and we all got to know Marie Rose.
After a wonderful salad, the main course of perogies and
Chichen done in Cream of Celery soup was brought out and enjoyed by all.
Just when we thought the meal was over, dessert was brought out. WOW!!.
Small pastry swans filled with ice cream and topped with whipped cream and chocolatc sauce, one for each of us,
also Black Forest Cake. What a wonderful Top Off to a meal.
When the food had settled we went up a few steps on the edge of the river where there was a small patio.
The Rovers Gathered and called for Marie Rose to Come Over.
We captured her in our arms, enveloped her in a purple cape and capped her head in red.
Queen Mischievous Maggie pronouced her Marquess de LaSalle Marie Rose and
a member of the Come Over Red Rovers, a Red Hat Society Chapter.
A small gathering afterwards, had us planning for a Witches Walk in Sarnia and a Christmas Party.
After a few hours of friendship we parted for home.
