Twenty images from southern Venezuela, June 7 to 23, 1997. This trip was sponsored by the Canadian International Development Research Centre in cooperation with the Organización Regional de Pueblos Indigenas de Amazonas (ORPIA). The purpose of this mission was to provide advice and support to a pilot ecotourism project organized by native aboriginal groups in Amazonas. Our group consisted of Stephen Woollcombe, Ian Davidson, Patricia Dwyer, Jim Mountain and Paul Pratt. A special thanks to Guillermo Guevara of ORPIA for his enthusiastic support and encouragement.
