Membership
Beginning in July, 2001 through June, 2003, the Wyandotte
Rotary Club, under the direction of Presidents Conrad Kreger
and Peter Deiringer, began a membership drive.
The
plan was a simple one:Ê extend the membership by reaching
our to those individuals in the community who were active
and committed.Ê In those years we gained 13 new members.
How
did we do this?Ê Simply by targeting those individuals we
thought would make good members and assigning at least two
members to talk with them and their employers about Rotary,
specifically Wyandotte Rotary and our involvement in the community.
We
believe we were successful and today continue with the same
commitment to obtain new members and retain old ones to Rotary
and their commitment to service! James Wagner President Rotary
Club of Wyandotte
